Welcome to Habitat for Humanity of Clinton County

About us!
Established in February of 2000, Habitat for Humanity of Clinton County is working throughout the community to provide safe and affordable housing for those in need.

We are an ecumenical Christian organization whose mission is to repair, build and renovate homes in partnership with people in need. We do this by forming communities of volunteers to help us fund our projects as well as work on them.

We are now looking for a qualified family for a home we plan to complete in 2012.  Go to this link to learn more!

A home is going up in Ovid

We're currently building a home for a family in need in Ovid.  It's a joint effort between several Clinton County churches all volunteering their time and raising funds to support the project.

Thank you to our church partners!

Many local churches have stepped forward to help fund the house we are building and are providing volunteers.
Thank you
to the following church partners:
  • United Church of Ovid
  • Salem, Lowe, Maple Rapids United Methodist Churches
  • St. Jude Catholic Church (DeWitt)
  • St. Joseph Catholic Church (St. Johns)
  • First United Methodist (St. Johns)
  • Pilgrim United Methodist Church (St. Johns)
  • Church of the Living Word (Ovid)
  • Bath & Gunnisonville Methodist Churches
  • Crossroads & Chapel Hill Methodist Churches (Williamston and East Lansing)

Wheelchair ramp program is our newest way to serve Clinton County families
Our newest way to serve those in need in Clinton County is our wheelchair ramp program.  Using a corps of volunteers, we build ramps for those in need.  Participants pay for the cost of materials.  The ramps are usually completed in one day.

Thank you to the Capitol Region Community Foundation for a grant providing us the seed money to launch this program.
